I started watching a show that is over the top violent, and the usual hbo overkill with predictable sex, I fast forward the sex because , well, it's not my thing at 73, and I find it boring, like a commercial, and, it is, as I said, predictable. The fight scenes are amazing and it is full of suspense. The name of the series is Banshee, and it is good and fast and has great acting, it's a twist on good guy vs bad guy and I guess how a man tries to redeem himself because of love, but just keeps getting himself deeper into shit, as he tries to right the wrongs in a small town. It;s been out a long time and I just stumbled on it when I had a need to escape in the evening. As they say in New England, it's wicked good. It has been out long enough because it started in 2015 or 14, so I do not think you have to subscribe to anything other than maybe pay for the series, it's also on Youtube. The actor portrays the character of a manly man, but for those who are sensitive to some things, I respectfully add it probably is not everyone;s cup of tea. I just found that for some odd reason, it helped me with some depression to get out of my own head. I guess I would rate the violence and sex on par with Game of Thrones, or any "modern" depiction of crime and violence.
