Hey, so what do you think is the purpose of the Maui fires? I've heard Lahaina is the poor section of Maui and so I imagine it was a rats nest of gang activity with drugs and human trafficking. If so, would the fires be a cleanup op, or a cover up? Or is it rapid "gentrification" for the uber rich? All of these seem somewhat plausible to me, but I'm leaning away from the last due to the burning pyramid meme.
