“Must have been aliens” - because there’s only aliens/DEWS and natural causes? Oh, wait, no possibility there were arsonists or even irresponsible campers in 1933?
I’m not saying there aren’t occurrences of lightning strikes or other natural causes for fires to start, but to discount human-error or arson seems statistically unlikely. Yes, I’d like to believe that “People wouldn’t do such things”, but that would be unrealistic.
