I don't know about sources but you can have more information. There is an aircraft tower in Dneprpetrovsk I think which was involved, and a fighter jet. The aircraft control tower diverted the MH17 plane over the warzone, just that plane. It was witnessed by a visiting Spanish air traffic controller, I think his name was Carlos, who has since disappeared. Anyway, the aircraft control tower is in Kolomoisky's region and well under his control.
The body of the pilot was strafed and he died from air to air cannon and I believe the pilot who did it was flying a MiG His name was Volodimir Voloshin and he has since died.
The plane was also hit by a BUK missile. and the shrapnel of this missile is a special shape for the early BUKs that Ukraine had and Russia no longer uses. I think the serial number from the casing has also been recovred and it was Ukraininan stock. The damaged plane did a big 180 degree loop and not crash where intended. It landed in an area under separatist control so evidence was not completely controlled by the Ukrainians.
The Dutch investigation was a huge cover up and Russia was not allowed to participate. There are lots of photos available which show the forensic findings I have mentioned.
Every serious researcher who has looked into this knows that it was the Ukrainians which shot down MH17 and the signs point to Kolomoisky having planned / green lighted it.
