I live in southeastern PA. Apparently, even if you repeatedly don’t pick up your phone to answer surveys, pollsters can’t take the hint.
So someone came knocking on our door the other day asking for us to answer questions about who we’d be voting for.
This is where the shenanigans became apparent, and made me, a data scientist, incredibly angry.
When asking who we’d be voting for in the Senate race, our options were: A) Mehmet B) Fetterman C) Not sure
The issue here is that none of Dr. Oz’s ads—nor the attack ads against him—mention his first name. So you’re likely going to get people who either say B—because it’s the only recognizable name—or C—because the don’t know who they hell Mehmet is.
Pollsters and the MSM can then take these « results » and say that either Fetterman is in the lead, or that he can still come back because ~so many voters are still undecided.
When asked who we’d be voting for in the gubernatorial race, the choices were:
A) Shapiro B) Mastriano C) Not sure
This time they correctly used the last names, but the shenanigans came when we said Mastriano.
They stopped the survey. Despite having more questions, they just straight up left. Biasing the pool of responses to the liberal leaders who said Shapiro.
I’m sick of nothing being honest in this country any more. It’s got to stop.
The next time a pollster tries to ask you for your input, tell ‘em to bugger off.
