I was speaking to a surgeon I know who is both very good at what he does and a genuinely nice guy. I mentioned that I didn't take the vax and he didn't seem put off. He said he got the initial pair and one booster and acted like it was no big deal. I said, let me ask you a simple question. What other area of medicine are you aware of where once size fits all?

He just looked at me. He responded that personalized medicine is still a ways off. I said I'm not talking about that. I said would you tell someone to take an aspirin if you didn't know something about their heath history? Would you prescribe a common antibiotic without first asking if they were allergic to it? He said no. Then I asked him do you know what is in the C19 vax? Could you list the ingredients? He kind of chuckled and said no but he was smart enough to see where I was going. I said what was it about the C19 vax that made so many doctors do something they would never normally do? Tell people, even strangers to take something they didn't fully understand themselves?

There is patience in waiting for someone to wake up but I have no patience with health care professionals who under any other circumstance would not do what they did when it came to the vax. How many people were tested with the boosters before they were rolled out? Am I correct in remembering it was tried on a few mice and that's it?

Maybe I'm wired differently but I've learned a lot over the past 5 years and each day seems to bring new revelations that makes me lose even more faith in humanity. "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they are doing"?? Does it apply here? Because I can't form the words "forgive them Father for they SHOULD have known what they were doing" in words and feel comfortable in saying it.
