My question is, why would they not want us to know DEWs caused it? There was obviously many things that went wrong that day that showed it was a setup. Sirens not going off, water was turned off, chief of police was the same one who lead the LV massacre.. etc.

Whether it was a DEW or arson doesn't matter IMO. It was a deliberate burning of Lahaina (arson).

At Trump's rally last Friday, he started talking about Biden as his economic policies in the theme of fire. He even said "It's economic arson". Then during that same topic he brings up "Not sending money to Maui." Pretty obvious comms.

My only explanation for them coming here to say it's not a DEW is to cause division and fighting in order to distract us from focusing on other things about the fire. However, they are wasting their time on a forum like this. They know we are too awake, it's a lost cause for them. Now, PDW on the other hand is compromised.
