This whole "16 is too young" is the non-Left signing on to the Left's eternal childhood plan for us.

16 was an adult or nearly so, not long ago. Juliet and Romeo were ~14. Marriages at this age were quite normal for the entire history of mankind, up until five minutes ago.

The issue is not a 16 year old giving it up for an older male. The issue is her doing this in a way where the man is not betrothed/married to her.

This is an issue of female supervision and guidance. And social system management.
