Please don't shoot me but this could "backfire" the first time a woman gets pumped full of lead running out the door with her arms full of diapers and formula.

What about mistakes? "I THOUGHT she was heading out the door with the coats, but she was just heading over to shop for scarves. Oops!"

We're the side that says punishment should fit the crime. So: ARMED robbery? Any kind of weapon at all? Eat lead, you're dead. Simple unarmed shoplifting? Not so much. Not chopping off your hands like islamic barbarians, either. (No, you don't get the stuff for free; and you do time for doing crime.)

Trump didn't say with WHAT you should get shot—blast unarmed looters with something non-lethal, like rubber bullets, tasers, etc! Avoid wrongful death, excessive use of force, and business-crippling lawsuits. Just a thought

Yes but IMHO and please hear me out, this gives the impression of wild-eyed gun-blazing lunatics. Might it "backfire" the first time a woman gets pumped full of lead running out the door with her arms full of diapers and formula?

What about mistakes? "I THOUGHT she was heading out the door with the coats, but she was just heading over to shop for scarves. Oops!"

I watched him say it, and I get the festive mood, but we're the side that says the punishment should fit the crime. So:

ARMED robbery? Any kind of weapon at all? Eat lead, you're dead.

Simple unarmed shoplifting? Not so much. Not chopping off your hands like islamic barbarians, either. (No, you don't get the stuff for free; and you do time for doing crime.)

Now, here's why I said hear me out: Trump didn't say with WHAT you should get shot!!

There's no problem with blasting unarmed looters with something non-lethal, like rubber bullets, tasers, etc! Those hurt like a BITCH and would be a strong deterrent but would avoid wrongful death, excessive use of force, and business-crippling lawsuits.

Just tossing that out there, don't shoot me :p
