I believe on CNN, after being asked, Matt Gaetz stated he didn't expect democrats to vote McCarthy out and that this would only show the American people that McCarthy is really a product of the democrat party. Gaetz said he expected his motion-to-vacate to be fail, but rather be an "exercise" showing the American public who really runs Congress.

Well, surprise, surprise. Even I was surprised by this. the democrats didn't vote to keep McCarthy as SOTH. This seems to show that the democrats are more inclined to be the anti-republican party. Forget about policy, just vote against anything the republicans favor. The script dems seem to follow is more of a Borg Collective hive mindset.
