The devil tricks a lot of people, evil can charm the socks off of a vulnerable soul. It shows itself when faced with the power of Christ, though, then it drops all of the facade and what replaces it is something that will make your skin crawl. Carry his power with you, and you can repel him, and truly evil people will avoid you, and never engage or challenge, this is why the occult is so dangerous, all of it. It's good to stay away from all of that, in my opinion. You don't have to live like a nun, but do avoid areas where sin and power mix. I'm not talking holier than thou, we are all sinners, but when you get blatant immoral behavior mixed with millionaires , political power, celebrities, promiscuity, adultery, cocaine, champagne, vanity and permission to do whatever you want to do, with protection, you know the devil is right there handing out drinks and popping the cork.
