I like RFK Jr, as do many republicans because he speaks truthfully about many issues. That does not mean people who would have otherwise voted for Trump will instead vote for RFK Jr at a higher rate than Biden voters will.
Remember the entire narrative of how Biden was “elected” was that he, as a weak candidate, won because people would vote for anyone over Trump. Well now there’s a solid moderate option for the democrats and never-trumpers, who no longer have to vote for a guy whom everyone has watched as he destroyed the economy, society and international peace.
Bobby has a lot of support from MAGA, but that doesn’t mean for a second they would vote for him over Trump, but perhaps over a secondary GOP candidate like Ron or Vivek (as I would likely do as well, if Trump was not an option for some reason).
Personally, I hope his political career doesn’t end here, because I wouldn’t mind seeing him as president or VP — but certainly not in front of Trump who has proven himself an ally of the American people.
