It reminds me a bit of the aliens where because there has been no official narrative given yet, people were free to debate and come to their own conclusions. The result is that a lot of nuance is emerging about the conflict and history of the region, the video is being analyzed, public statements are being treated with skepticism rather than blind trust, etc.
A Jewish friend of mine--who has family living in Israel--is one of the most skeptical about the whole matter. Reflecting on that really makes me appreciate the friendship.
I suggest trying this on an NPC tomorrow: ask them what they think about the conflict. Do you get an emotional triggered response? Or does the NPC have to reach up into their noggin and come up with their own opinion?
Why are we being given free space to debate this? If "media assets" have been removed, maybe we've been cleared to form our own policy?
