Chris relayed made up crap to Bruce who conveniently flipped it to his wife Nellie Ohr (Russian linguist/analyst and a former Russian History professor who was working for Fusion GPS). Nellie tunes it up and feeds it back to Chris as a legitimate source.

Chris and Nellie work together to assemble outrageous (bar talk) Trump allegations who package it as "proof" that Trump and his associates are colluding with Vladimir and stole the election.
