"All I care about is Jesus coming back".
A very understandable desire.
When I began feeling that way, I found it helpful to reread and think about Jesus' warning to me, His Parable about the servant who buried the talents his master had given him so theyd be safe while he waited for his masters return.
When his master returned he expected to be praised. However, according to Jesus, was His Master pleased? What was His Masters surprising reaction? What explanation and warning did Jesus give for The Masters " surprising " reaction to the servant who thought he'd please His Master by being so faithful?
Bottom line, best wishes to all anons.
