Consequently, when fear comes knocking on the door of ones heart, who is really knocking and asking to be let in?

Consequently, when I begin to feel fearful, I now view it as a kind of warning signal letting me know that my heart connection with Him is faltering or broken which I can fix by opening my heart back up to Him again.
