Agreed. The thing to keep in mind is that even if we are watching a movie, the 'black hats' are trying to influence the script as much as the 'white hats' are.

In the end, maybe the grey hats will inherit the earth, lol. That would probably agree with the majority of human worldviews, at any rate. A small fraction want power, control and oppression. Another fraction want life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. But the vast majority are like "meh" and just want food, booze, sexy time with a good looking partner and shared hobbies with their guy/gal pals.

Maybe there's something to be said for that worldview? I dunno... The thought of wearing a leather jacket with the phrase "just don't" on the back, and "fuck off" on the front, while letting the world sort itself out feels pretty tempting at times. It would certainly be easier!
