what ends up happening is they start to make themselves looks more “beautiful”/normal/traditional (less weird).

based off that experience, i say they ruin themselves because they don’t feel motivated to impress/seduce because there is a scarcity of men.

once they feel attraction for a man, they automatically/naturally/instinctively work on beautifying themselves for that man.

edit: i just remembered, it has more to do with their belief that all men hate all women [and The Patriarchy], they’re weaponizing their ugly, because men like to look at attractive women.
