Genesis 10:1-3 --

1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz ...

Noah >> Japheth >> Gomer >> Ashkenaz

So, no. Not of Shem, not semetic.

At least, not in that particular line.

But the jews have mixed a lot.

Consider this, even before Noah:

Genesis 4:15 --

And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

That "mark upon Cain" must have been something that was OBVIOUS to anyone who might encounter him.

Was it the hook nose?

Is there any other feature of ANY particular group of people that is immediately obvious to others as to who they are (other than skin color) than the hook nose?

Jesus, speaking to "jews" of His day --

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning ... -- John 8:44

Cain was the "murderer from the beginning."
