Heavenly Father, we come before you this day, as we celebrate the founding of what is today the United States Marine Corps, in gratitude for Your guidance in establishing both this great country and this great military branch. We thank You for infusing courage, strength and honor into the hearts, minds, spirits and bodies of the brave men and women who have risen to the occasion, both past and present, to stand up and serve our blessed country in defending all that is good against the evil forces that aim to destroy.
Lord, we ask that You protect our brave soldiers wherever they may be in this world, keep them safe and healthy as You watch over their families with care. We understand that their victories are Your victories, through Your grace and blessings, their glory is Your glory.
Father, let each and every Marine know in their heart, today on the birthdate of their military branch’s establishment, that a grateful nation of patriots loves and respects these brave individuals for all they do, through the might and power of Your grace and Your love.
Lord, protect our Marines and all our soldiers and veterans, all honorable military worldwide, as we’re faced with a centuries-old, entrenched evil that these strong, brave soldiers stand up to fight against with righteous hearts so that we may live in peace. In Jesus’ loving name. Amen 🙏✝️
