Using this guy's 8% interest they would pay £0.2 trillion in yearly interest on that.. The UK has not paid anywhere close to £241 trillion in interest.
And if you don't believe that, consider the biggest economy on Earth has just under $34 trillion in debt right now. Even 8% of that is only $2.72 trillion, whereas this guys math for next year would be 8% of 241 TRILLION. Utterly absurd.
