That's what media watchdog companies do. It's not illegal to "shame" (which is an entirely subjective stance) advertisers into pulling ads from a company based on that company's actions. There are conservative media watchdog companies that do the exact same thing. Remember that shit with Budlight and the tranny? Conservative media watchdog groups "shamed" companies that ran Budlight ads until the companies refused to run their ads. Do you think Budlight should sue all those companies that dropped their ads because a media watchdog group "shamed" them into it?
Unless Musk can show that Media Matters was lying about what Musk was doing, he has no case.
And since there is evidence that Musk has placed ads next to pro-Nazi posts, part of Media Matter's complaint against X, it doesn't look like Musk has much of a defense.
