Just got my potassium iodide crystals & elemental iodine crystals. A 10% Lugols solution: You need- 16.9 grams elemental iodine crystals 33.7 grams potassium iodide crystals 118ml of distilled water

DO NOT USE METAL TO STIR OR STORE Dissolve iodide in water. Stir until dissolved. Stir in iodine. Let sit overnight. Use colored glass to store. This formula is percentage scalable up or down. You can change the amounts keeping a 2 (potassium iodide) to 1 (iodine), adjusting water to arrive at % desired.

16.9 gr/(16.9 gr + 33.7 gr + 118 ml) = 0.10 or (10 %)
