I predicted this to my folks the other night. They will turn every lever they can to make it look like the economy is good. The one thing they can’t fix is inflation. If all you care about is your 401k you’ll be mostly happy. If you like to eat, short if subsidizing all of Americans this ain’t going to fix that.

They cannot escape the effects of inflation though they will try to distract from it next year. I expect them to cheat hard and flagrantly. 30mil amnesty right before election sounds about right.

My hope is that their attempts to “fix” the market actually triggers the recession. We need to flush all of that bad debt out sooner or later.
