Well, my subtle little whimsy in Gen Chat yesterday didn't appear to do the trick, and for some weird reason, the CAT did not pick up on my trademark obscure, abstract satire (who'da thunk it), but seriously, does the CAT mean "General Chat" when he's posting and talking and discussing "Daily Chat"?

It might seem just pedantic, but for Pepe's sake, if the name of the thread is General Chat why not USE that name, instead of creating threads about the "Daily Chat"?

I mean, attention to detail. High effort and all that.

signed, linguistically oriented and occasionally dumbfounded non-autist

Note: use of capitals is standard for designating an actual proper noun, aka formal NAME, as opposed to regular non-capitals for a common noun, aka just the word that is used to refer to something.

"daily chat" makes sense, but "Daily Chat" is only existent on GAW in those two posts by Catsfive and a solitary post by Polish one year ago. Better yet, 'daily General Chat' would be super accurate.

And that is ALL I'm going to say about that. Next topic?
