Years ago when I was a struggling single parent law student my car died. On top of that, my ex qualified for (UK) legal aid and decided to sue for custody and control of our daughter who he never had much time for. The night before the court hearing I got prayed for - result: no custody and control for him, sum of £ for a new car for me. It was a small amount; a friend who had just received a huge payout from a US hospital for gross negligence decided to get the car of his dreams and let me have his old one... It was a beautiful, cherry red Opel Manta. Never in my wildest dreams did I aspire to owning anything so cool. God is good.
