It's expressly forbidden by the very first part of the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights that there be ANY established religion for the Nation. It was in fact the raison d'être, the keystone of the founding of the Nation.
Christian principles? Each individual acting in a Christlike fashion? Not a damn thing wrong with that. Completely different from so-called "Christian Nationalism", which is a meaningless, invented dog whistle to radical left-wing zealots, like "white privilege", "QAnon" and "conspiracy theorist."
