Public sauce that confirms the translation of this clip
It's PBS, so I think we can be confident the translation is accurate. MSM may be scum, but they operate in a world where reputation is important, and a fake or false translation would get pointed out very quickly, and they would get burned as a result.
(Note: MSM will definitely distort, twist, manipulate facts for their propaganda purposes, but a mistranslation would a a glaring booboo.)
PS. I thought this looked familiar. Date Reported: Sep 12, 2023

The story here itself is believable, BUT where is the sauce for this? Has this translation been vetted at all.
Despite running some searches, I cannot find ANY tangible source for this particular translation, except for posts on twitter, tiktok and bar, etc, with this clip and that translation.
Can't find any established (public) Russian sources, or translations, of this clip.
Because it is believable, it's very easy to accept it. It speaks directly to our biases and the biases of those who know a reasonable amount about what is going on and about the propaganda the DS Globalists have out on Putin.
But that doesn't mean we should ignore GOOD PRACTICE, check, verify, and doubt information that comes to us WITHOUT any identified source.
I'm a bit bamboozled that so many frogs just accept the information without (apparently) thinking to check.
Note: above, one frog asked a Russian speaking friend to check. That's the way to go. Result: the friend reported that the translation is accurate. That's a good start. But I'm a bit surprised that there seem to be no verifiable sources out there sharing this. Hmmmm... .
Check and verify. Every time.
