Bot, I didn't say proof.
Proofs can be funny, because most people don't understand that a proof is different from evidence supporting a Theory.
There is lots of evidence to support the theory of evolution. But no one has observed evolution. And the only reason theory holds water is because there is another widely accepted theory of how long this earth has been here. It's based on another widely accepted theory that the earth is a planet in a galaxy. Even the sun being the same thing as the stars is a theory we can't prove.
I bet if you were really objective, you'd understand that a proof, which proves that the earth is not billions of years old, will supplant the foundation of evolution, because evolution requires billions of years for primordial ooze to form enzymes into life. Which could happen over a billions years, maybe, but it's far fetched if this land, that we stand on, is billions or even millions of years old. The only fact is we don't know, yet you can fill a telephone book with names of PhDs and Scientists who would disagree. So, serious question....what do you do if you are the only person who knows a truth and everyone around you thinks you're crazy and won't listen to you? But you are certain everyone is wrong. You probably can't image such a situation, yet I experience it now.
You trust people to know for you and don't check yourself. I trust my Common sense and reason enough to call bullshit and follow through with knowledge and resourcefulness. But I also don't trust the foundations most people rely on for their understanding of where we are and how we came to be here. I get that you think you're smart, I was there too, totally teaching about evolution and the cosmos, theoritical chaos maths, all of that crap. Now, I just rant anomalously online, it's the only way to get it off my chest.
You don't have to endulge me with a response, I admit it looks like I'm trolling, and now you're reading a novel... but I really just blurted out my comment because it's a normal through in my head when I see evolution theory under consideration.... I forget other people are still in the weeds.
Religion aside, evolution just isn't the best explanation. I think humans of various races and animals of various species were placed here from other realms on this massive, maybe infinite plane.
I believe genetic drift and genotype adaptation is not enough to conclude species jump required for evolution to be a real science. And it's not in any record. The evidence for evolution is actually pretty weak when you start digging.
