Hey, I'm not in a shower, but I did have, and do have, these thoughts!

In other news, a very wet December this year. Sigh.
is it just me? I really appreciate all the work the mods do. On the whole, they do an amazing job that is often thankless, motivated by and large by unselfish service.
But I also think that high quality posting should be promoted, so when a screenshot of a headline with zero sauce reference is stickied, I just wonder if this is actually high quality high effort posting. Sure, it may be 'news', but when low effort posts are stickied, I wonder if this helps the overall trajectory of the board, towards increasingly better quality or to increasingly lowering standards...
I think its impossible for the mods to catch it all; they do so much work and overall do a great job, but I still wonder if there isn't a need for a clear rubric or set out protocol for vetting posts that are stickied.
