I do not believe for a second they have any notion whatsoever of giving up easily... they know it is life or death... I guess the crazy analogy I would use its akin to swimming with an evil dolphin... wonderful dolphins have saved people because they seem to sense humans need oxygen and they enable it... the evil one would bring you to the surface but faster bring you back under to hasten your demise... no quarter can afford to be given because it is life or death for us too!
