Trump recently said "Vivek is not MAGA". Vivek also said a couple months ago he would be Trump's VP just as soon as Trump would be his (meaning NEVER).
Of course if it were offered to him now, I'm certain he would take it. He is just another deep state politician. He'll pivot on ANYTHING he said, when convenient for his position. Everything he says is engineered for an outcome. It isn't about the truth.

Vivek to me is as obvious as controlled opposition can be. A deep state plant, designed in a lab to appeal to Trump's base. How especially could he have been able to say all those "conspiracy" things he said on (deep state) national TV and been able to get away with it? It's because the deep state WANTED him to.

What IS disconcerting is that he made a very positive impression to a good amount of the MAGA base, and is therefore well-positioned in the future for a successful bid for president. I don't think he was truly there to win, just to position for the future. And to be there in case they were successful in blocking Trump. No, we do NOT want that.
