Just in time for me to become a carnivore.

Far to often in my journey I seem like I'm the first in line to meet the sunsetting of so much those before me got to enjoy.

I recall as a private in the army I was treated like shit. Like sub human unworthy trash that needed to prove my worth (special operations generalized hazing). Back of the line, last to get anything etc. When I became a Sergeant, everything flipped, we were letting the privates eat first, told to fill their fucking canteens etc. WTF? This wasn't the way it was when I was a private, NCO's were living large, when I became one, I was now the butler to the privates. How did this happen? None of that was anything too major in the grand scheme of things but it seems like I've been in the bubble of screwed over by everything for decades now. Even pay, I made more as route driver in 2003 than I do as a two degreed technical systems admin 20 years later.

To add more to it, my expectation of getting social security by the time I'm eligible for it is very low. I wont even be the least bit surprised if that is gone by the time it is my turn to get mine.

Sorry, just needed to get that rant off my chest. Perpetual screwed over is the river I swim in. On the bright side, calm seas and sailor proficiency comes to mind.
