However, he made comments about Victoria Nuland and the c_a running the show, about continuing aggression by the west etc. A lot of the American and even European people don't know this stuff. Putin has not been able to make his case up till now on the western media. I think the timing is important particularly when the DS is crying for more Ukraine aid.
