But at least acknowledge that you are making a choice, and don't simply ignore one because it contradicts your biases or existing beliefs.
Or consider both possibilities, consider which one fits your bias, ask yourself whether your bias is preventing you from considering any alternative perspective.
It is a key and core factor in the "this is not Biden" narrative that the large majority of proponents refuse to apply critical thinking from all dimensions, attach to emotionally satisfying explanations DESPITE contradicting evidence and reasoning. In other words, they choose to believe because it makes them comfortable.
