Abbot is busing some of them to other places but most are being sent out of Texas via "Non-profits" such as Catholic Charities - and those non-profits get a huge amount of their funding from U.S. Federal government grants. Texas (as well as all other border states) have always had some level of illegals in our communities higher than you'd probably see in non-border states, and that number has risen during this current surge for sure, but not to levels that scream "crisis" because most of the illegals are transported to other places out of state were they have "right to shelter" laws and a better ability to work under the table. California is probably the exception and AZ is having more than their share right now as well.
