I am part of a full on church community now. I love it. I clean up after the kids on Sunday, just to help out so somebody else doesn’t have to do it. I go to a Thursday morning, Womens Bible Study, and these women are lit. They’re all over 50, and they kick ass. They know God’s word inside and out, and our Bible studies are anything, but tea and crumpets.
It’s great to have a bunch of women that care for one another, pray for one another, and share gods word with one another. Being part of a church community it’s just awesome! I live in Hawaii part time, and I have an entire church community over there as well. If somebody asks for prayer, I send it to four different Womens Bible Study’s. It’s a great life.
I’m so happy that you got sober, and that you have found Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. I’m happy to hear you found a fan in your church community, and that she’s lifting you up by supporting you and your music. Sounds like a great Church you got there, hold onto it.
