And that video of the woman in costco.... Was just in there yesterday. Chicken / beef is nowhere near that price that she showed. I saw one similar on IG a few months ago and it turned out to be fake - staff had the wrong prices on things.
Fruit is always expensive in Canada because we don't produce any except local summer fruits ( berries and the like ), just about all fruits are imported to Canada. Avocados, I believe are not in full season right now so they are always pricey this time of year. Grapes went up a couple years ago, but have pretty much stayed the same the last 2 years.
