It's gonna become illegal for businesses / corporations to store data on their customers like this. Way too many "breaches".
All data should be stored encrypted where not even they can view it. Something is possible I just am not the person with the tech knowledge to know what that is,
maybe they can assign every customer a hash which is the only data they can see. Then they or the customer inputs it and all of the actual data is handled internally by a software portal of some kind?
hell, idk why they even need your name, paying for a sandwich is done without anything beyond a money transaction... once again a unique hash could be all that links you and whatever corporation you do business with. (digitally speaking, IRL transactions are way simpler)
