Consider what that actually means, though ...

The water in the oceans are lowering, creating more coastline.

Why?

It means that the ice caps must be growing.

Why?

Because contrary to the fake news narrative, the next serious threat to the climate is not global warming or "muh climate change," but rather the FACT that we have been in an interglacial period (for 10,000 years) of the current ice age (2,000,000 years).

When the ice caps get larger and larger, they will eventually head southward, creating the next glacial period of the ice age.

Ice cores in Greenland were taken, and the conclusion was that glacial periods last 200,000 years, on average. But interglacial periods last 10,000 years, on average.

Our current interglacial has been a little more than 10,000 years.

More to the point, though: When the Earth shifts out of an interglacial period, it can switch to a glacial period within as little as 20 years.
