This meme is retarded.
First off these are not popping up everywhere, there are reported only 3 of them in rural Australia in areas far from the grid, they were created by Jon Edwards a retired mechanical Engineer.
The specific unit pictured here is not a 350KW generator it's a 60KW generator that uses less than 4 gallons of fuel per hour, and typically takes 45 minutes to charge Edwards BMW i3 shown in the picture, which then could travel 125 miles which is more like 112 mpg a far cry from this retarded memes claim of 5.6 mpg.
The other 2 units have different specs including one with the largest generator being 88KW. Edwards also converted all 3 units to be able to run on vegetable oil waste as well as diesel, which is pretty cool. He says running on vegetable oil the generators get 90% of the energy for equivalent volume of diesel.
