Why would they have been posting about it before the FSK bridge incident?
The reason people are posting about it now is because the FSK bridge incident was an extremely bad event that got people's attention, because people like to watch disasters.
What redundancies would be applied to the incident that happened here? There were unoccupied barges that got carried away by flood waters.
Just curious, what exactly are you basing your opinion on about these incidents happening more often? Have you done any actual digging into this, looking for all occurrences of bridge/Waterway incidents across the last X number of years and worked out the math into if it's happening more often or not?
Or are you basing your opinion on just what you're feeling is happening, largely influenced by social media algorithms that show you more stories about subjects that you've shown an interest in?
