If you check my post history, I’m quite in favor of calling out evil and taking action against it, and I’ve also spoken quite a bit about it needing to be measured appropriately, not taken rashly, and being lawful.
I [deleted, because it was excessive, but still have the text] a fairly passionate post toward what sounded like someone advocating inaction a few days ago.
The use of the word “forced” here is still inaccurate, and I’m not pointing it out to “run cover” or “call for inaction” or stupid nonsense like that, I’m pointing it out 1. so that reactions can be appropriately measured when the time comes 2. If worse comes before judgment is rendered, you have it in your mind to stand fast rather than kneeling.
As Owen Benjamin likes to say, “I may be wrong, but I’m not lying”, and in this case I’m not wrong, either.
