About 10 years ago, one of my dad's best friends was in vegas with his girlfriend.
He was 75 years old and with his young girlfriend of 60 years old. He no longer drank alcohol, but his choice in women was always barflys and she was sloshed.
Guess some things are hard to get rid of.
They were walking down the strip and his girlfriend couldn't walk and he was trying best he could to help her back to the room, but it was hard.
Guy is 75 years old.
He told me, "complete comedy of errors, but they should have known better. Bad parents."
The they?
The 3 college aged kids laughing and making fun of Gail, the 60 year old woman.
Amos asked them several times to stop making fun of her. She finally fell down and he was having trouble picking her up.
That is when one of the men touched her, while laughing now at both Amos and Gail.
Amos immediately threw one punch and knocked the guy out.
A second guy went to tackle Amos and he knocked him out with one punch.
Third guy was standing back thinking.
Amos said, "do you not see a pattern here? Stay away."
Cops saw it and even asked Amos if he wanted to press charges. He declined, saying, "they learned their lesson"
RIP, Amos. Died 5 years ago.
