Because of this God said the sword shall never leave your house because you have despised me 2 Samuel 12:10. David's family was in constant turmoil. His son Ammon raped his half sister Tamar 2 Samuel 13:1-, his son Absalom kills Amnon and then tried to take the throne.
Saul- the first king and he went to a witch to have Samuel called back from the dead because God wasn't listening to him anymore. I Samuel 27:3
