That is my point, too. I am sick right now (getting better, thanks for asking). I didn't test for anything. But we did stock up on all the goodies, which is now a habit BTW.

The Doctor's offices in my area have a 4-week waiting list, and 'Covid patients' i.e. those who tested postitive on the RAT tests (less reliable than PCR :snigger:) are told to stay home, because there is nothing the docs can do. My colleague's Covid came on with a burning of all nerves all over the body. The person was jabbed once in April '22 and intantly regretted it. Now, all the variants hit them. So, another data-point. Also yesterday one of the antivaxxers thanked me for standing up for him when the quasi-enforced-by-the-'orginization; jab-mandate came up. Said he will never regret not taking the jab.

The NZ health system is in serious disarray, especialy as the previous government spent energy (during Covid) setting up a parallel health system for Maori, with lots of glossy PR material. What an outrageous waste of money. The current government is trying to dismantle some of the ideological mess. The result of the incessant re-structuring is that there has been a brain-drain of escaping doctors and nurses to overseas, and the budget is in the toilet. Also, wages are 30-50% more lucrative in Australia. Gee I wonder why? (hint: New Public Managementwas coined in NZ - this problem is decades old)

There is still no call or PSA for the pedes to at least stock up on aspirin, vit D, Ivermectin, Zinc etc. Mind you, some of the people are now too poor to even buy food due to inflation, let alone stock up on extras for the next few months. some of these supplements cost a day's worth of food for one little bottle.

BTW, I found Borocca drinks, and Cod liver oil to be very acceptable. I guess I'm lucky.
