Anyone who’s ever herded livestock knows the frustration of trying to herd them when it’s done incorrectly.

There are two shepherds. The other wants to herd them to slaughter. We want to herd them to be shorn (of false narratives) so they can handle the “heat”.

It’s been a long time for them to stop following the butcher shepherds at all. I stopped engaging with them just because I can’t hit the emotional notes they need - skip too many intermediate narratives between where they are and where I am, to where they can’t hear the context of a completely different story. Figure I’m hopefully more useful on the backend, if anything.
