Let's be real. I'm all about bein' comfy as F and trusting the plan, but I'd be lying if I said my hiney hole wouldn't pucker if there were "missiles away" or something like that...

Think about it...they could TOTALLY screw with us HARDCORE and pull off a "scare event" - Imagine the following scenario I'm imagining could happen:

1. EMS message: Imminent nuclear threat incoming - shelter in place immediately (you guys remember the NYC nuke preparedness posters a few years ago?!)

2. Everyone scrambles to get more info by tuning into the MSM or online...Imagine us all desperate for up to the minute info on GA - It's up for an hour or two and they tell some plausible story, but info is scarce - THEN all of a sudden COMPLETE internet and TV BLACKOUT! No radio, no TV, No phone - NO NUTTIN' ! People who already can't unglue themselves from the shindig are literally going insane with anxiety...For some reason, there's a strange hum or something that steps on every channel and frequency of CB and HAM radio - Everything is completely useless for COMs.

3. COMs blackout lasts for X number of days - nobody knows shit - you see your neighbors more over these few days than you have cumulatively for the past 10 years...You and them work out a plan to cover the property front/back/sides from potential threats and maybe talk about relying on each other for survival after a week or so, when fuel runs out - possibly there is no electricity - making it a dire situation for the elderly and those of ill health...

4. Most stores are closed - gas stations run out of fuel or there's no electricity - whatever you have for food/fuel is ALL YOU'RE GETTING for God knows how long.

Everyone is experiencing high anxiety - especially those separated from their loved ones, as there is absolutely NO way to call them, check in on them, tell them you love them, unless you somehow risk trekking out into who knows what could happen (gangs, thieves, gestapo) - or Marshal law is enacted and you were instructed to stay where you are or get thrown in the brig...or worse.

Think about that - TOTALLY doable...
