The title on the book itself is not misspelled. I have a copy myself and it is spelled correctly as Darkness. The image of the book cover on Amazon is also spelled with "darkness". The Amazon page title is where it is misspelled and that is the ONLY source of the misspelling that is "darnkess". Interesting that it has never been corrected.

Strangely, in order to find the book on Amazon, you have to do an internet search with the misspelled title which then directs you to the amazon page where you can buy it. If you do a search with either spelling of darkness/darkness on Amazon itself, it will not come up in the search. Very strange!
