Think about it in terms of strategy.

For quite some time, the "change of batter" narrative has been around. For years, since before Biden was elected (i.e. big mike). Strategically, by putting out the narrative BEFORE the move can be done, you make it harder and harder for the opponent to then make that move. You preemptively strike, and remove that option for them.

Now it's gone mainstream:

But it seems no matter how much cold water the Biden campaign or Democratic Party throw on this raging fire of speculation, Americans will not be put off the Great Joe Biden Replacement Theory.

It's the idea that somehow, some way the President will be swapped out as the Democratic Party's candidate ahead of the 2024 election.

There has been so much talk over the past 3 years about (them) putting in someone to replace Biden, that raises the attention of the mainstream (middlestream) normie people. If they went ahead and then did it, they would essentially be confirming: "Our opponents KNOW what we are doing. They are right." Here, opponents means the patriots, and the swamp cannot afford to acknowledge to the public "they have completely outmaneuvered us!".

So, let's say the Swamp is stuck and they cannot get rid of Biden as their candidate. If they are cut of from their usual lines of communication, their upline, then they don't know WHY they could not remove Biden and run with someone else. So they'll be thinking: What the heck? What is going on? Biden is killing us! Why can't we remove him?

If that was the case, then strategically, what should you do? Rub it in their faces Drive the twist in deeper.

Bannon coming out now declaring "it's over. Biden will be replaced" a) makes it all the harder for them to do it and b) teases and trolls them harder and harder.

Panic. The Dems and the Deep State? Freaking out. They WANT to get rid of Biden, but they won't be able to do it. They lose if they remove him, they lose if they don't. Removing Biden would be a full volume declaration that "We had the wrong guy in there and we cannot do anything!".

What do you in a narrative war when your opponent is cornered? Drive them nuts and bonkers, freak them out even more, troll them in to a state of complete disarray.

That's how I interpret this Bannon move here. But it's based on the article from the Daily Mail, which is the real dig of the dagger in to the ribs.

'The only people who could force him out would be Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer,' one Democratic strategist told DailyMail.com. 'It would have to be the four of them collectively.'

And the process would be high risk.

Conclusion: the Democrat Party and their Deep State controllers are screwed.
